First off I call it Fall and I have a love/hate relationship with the season.
1. I LOVE the cooler temperatures ...... except HATE that here in Kentucky it doesn't seem love we have a gentle transition into the season. We will have temperatures in the 80s and then BOOM it will be 40. You'll have all your summer garment and the closet and be scrambling to find a sweatshirt or jacket to wear!
2. I LOVE drop folage. and mums in every color. We have small trees in our yard so we don't have to do a lot of raking. We go through to Brett's parents and let the kids play in the leaves behind Grandpa rakes them up.
3. I LOVE leather boots jeans and sweaters ... although after getting my fall clothes out this year I've found that I truly need to go shopping.
4. I HATE cold/flu/allergy season. I'm an ER nurse and I swear if I hear one more time about someone being 'exposed to the swine flu' I'm going to puke.
5. I like not LOVE Halloween. As the mother of small children I have fun seeing them get so excited about Trick or Treating and going to the Zoo like well as playgroup parties!
6. I LOVE Pumpkin Spice Lattes from Starbucks .... only available in the fall.
