The apparel industry is booming! Although our clothing is frequently not made in the USA there is variety. We have the goth style skaters fat and tall thin fits oh and even gay attire(when did that start?). Every man sometimes daydreams of filling their wardrobe with high brands or stylish clothing. However with something so popular and common come misconceptions.
Listen and you will learn!
1. Expensive items are better quality
Ok 20 to 40 years ago this was somewhat correct except times have changed. The truth is when clothing is made the only difference between some brands are the labels! For sample did you understand that Abercrombie & Fitch( a higher end brand) polos are the same quality love Aeropostale’s (lower-end brand)? I’m forreal guys! Whenever you purchase from exclusive clothing lines all what you are buying is the prestige and minor unique stitching. I don’t know you but I don’t need the supplementary cost just for buying the prestige! Do your research! Compare clothing before you buy it. If you don’t know google it!
2. Owning good quality clothing requires a lot of money.
Not true. As we all know times are a little tougher on companies so now they are being competitive. Look out for sales or bargains. Another alternative buy clothing from your friends or from those large stores called Goodwill! When I was younger I used to buy plain colored t-shirts from them for a few bucks. Some good websites to seem for are Target Walmart Aeropostale (we have sales every week) and Amazon. Something else you can do is buy summer garment during the winter and shop them for next year. You can do the same with winter clothes buy them during the summer and store them! Like I said before look out for bargains since there are often bargains.
3. Tight clothing is for gay people.
From the beginning—yes there are and have been cases of farthest homosexuals that wear tights clothing to express their sexuality. However don’t mingle fit and tight clothing. Fit clothing is not truly tight but not loose. You get me? Don’t get tight and fit confused. Another thing fit clothing is supposed to be for men also. Fit clothing expresses your masculinity and tone. There is nothing wrong with that. I mean women express their feminism by wearing tight clothing.
Don’t be scared by “fit” clothing. It was not designed to fit everyone (no pun intended) but it was designed make you look better
4. Cheap clothing does not last.
Well there is some truth to this. SUPER ULTRA cheap clothing should probably last you as long as you receive concern of it(naturally) but it will fade easily and get thinner faster. A few of Walmart’s trademark of T-shirts are bad quality. Half of the other brands are good 678but beware of knockoffs. ba
5. Only gay people are into clothing.
Well that’s not true. Here is how it works: If you are proud of yourself and just like making yourself look better then there is nothing wrong with experimenting with clothing. Also when people say “gay people are into fashion” usually they are referring to what they see on TV. Audiences see these shows of how some gay director manages some fashion show and gets stressed out about it. That’s where this misconception comes from. There is nothing wrong with being super-duper interested clothing. However if it’s as well extreme either make a career out of it or you need help(just kidding).
