The Upper Freehold/Allentown mens over-40 soccer team opened its drop season with a win in an away match against Howell. With several changes to the squad player-manager Alan Nicholls went into the game not quite sure how those changes would influence the performance of his senior team except that uncertainty was soon allayed.
